Hebden Bridge School has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced primary teacher to join our team.
We are looking for candidates who share our ethos of nourishing the natural desire to learn and create.
We are currently looking for a KS1/KS2 teacher for two hours teaching per week every Thursday morning.
You’ll work with us to develop literacy, numeracy and art and deepen the children’s understanding of our cross-curricular topics.
You have an interest in yoga/meditation and are able to work creatively with primary school children.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Teaching how to read and write
- Developing numeracy
- Planning and delivering cross-curricular arts.
- Participating with other teachers and students in democratically running the school.
- Creative approach to teaching
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Team Player
- Strong interest in Yoga, meditation or creative personal development would be helpful.
