Science Teacher

We have an exciting position for a creative Science Teacher working as part of our team for one day a week at the Wonder Inn School in Manchester, Shudehill.

 Roles and responsibilities:

  • Creating personalised learning plans in collaboration with students
  • Planning and delivering cross-curricular lessons
  • Participating with other teachers and students in democratically running the school.

Qualifications:

  • PGCE and QTS
  • Ability to teach up to GCSE

Essential:

  • Creative approach to teaching
  • Strong communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Team Player
  • Patience
  • Strong interest in Yoga, meditation or alternative therapies would be useful.

ART TEACHER

We are looking for a creative art teacher to work for two hours a fortnight in Hebden Bridge and two hours a fortnight in Manchester. We’d like you to challenge and support our children’s creativity. To not give them ready made answers. You’ll work as a team with our teachers, using art to deepen the children’s understanding of our cross-curricular topics. You have an interest in yoga/meditation and experience working creatively with secondary school aged children.
